what does it take to be a "good person." many cultures have tried to answer this question, and there's still lots of conflict over it. this is just my personal viewpoint. i don't consider myself to be a particularly good person, so don't call me on hypocrisy. this is just my ideal.
when asked whether they're a good person, some people may rattle off a list of things that they haven't done. they haven't given in to temptation. they haven't coveted their neighbor's ________, and they haven't done a whole host of other things. three words: FUCK THAT SHIT!!!
seriously, it's really great that you haven't ever killed. first commandment. awesome. same deal with the rest of the world, so get off your high horse.
now, i'm not going to give you exact quotes, because i'm just a little bit too lazy for that, but Jesus said "all sins are equal", or words to that effect, meaning that, to your basic christian fundamentalist, thinking "damn, that girl's hot" is JUST AS BAD as mass murder or, horror of horrors, HOMOSEXUALITY...
the "son of MAN" also said that absolutely everyone sins at some point.
